Sequel Speakeasy: Warehouse Shoe Sale in Indianapolis

The Sequel Speakeasy is a limited-time warehouse shoe sale hosted by Sequel by Athletic Annex. It happens just 1–2 times per year and offers deep discounts on inspected, graded running shoes.

Sequel exists to give great running shoes a second life.
Instead of perfectly usable shoes sitting unused, Sequel extends the life of gently worn pairs by thoughtfully reintroducing them to the market — offering runners sustainable, high-quality options at a great price.

The Sequel Speakeasy is when we open the warehouse doors and make hundreds of these shoes available in person, with a speakeasy-themed twist.

What Is Sequel?

Sequel by Athletic Annex is where returned running shoes are given a second life.

Every pair is:

• Individually inspected
• Professionally graded
• Priced transparently based on condition

Rather than sending returns back into the void, Sequel makes them available to runners who want premium shoes at a lower cost.

The Sequel Grading System

All shoes are labeled clearly using our color-based grading system:

• 🟢 Like New – Tried on, but still in new condition. Packaging may be damaged and/ or tags may be missing (least discount)
• 🟡 Road-Tested – Taken for one or two test runs. Anticipate some discoloration to the sole (middle discount)
• 🔴 Used – Previously worn for up to one week. Plenty of miles left to enjoy. Expect some discoloration to the sole, and the occasional stain on the upper (highest discount)
  

Every category is discounted below market price. There are no fixed percentages — pricing reflects real condition.
